On Saturday, 21 January 2017, more than 100,000 women, men and children marched through the streets of London, from the US Embassy to Trafalgar Square. It was one of more than 600 marches around the world in solidarity with the Women's March in Washington DC. Sixteen members of St George's Church marched behind our banner, and we carried signs made by children in our congregation. It was cold and crowded, but a wonderful experience as we publicly stood up for gospel values: respecting the dignity of every human being, protecting the planet, and human rights.
