Pianist Geoffrey Duce

Guest Artist Dr Geoffrey Duce is a longtime friend of our Music Director Joel Thomas. Originally from Scotland, he is now Associate Professor of Piano at Illinois State University. Geoff has performed in Carnegie Hall, Berlin’s Philharmonie and Konzerthaus, London’s Wigmore Hall, Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall and Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall, as well as across Europe, and in Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He has also performed for us at St George’s!

Although he has been unable to travel to the UK recently, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Geoff has graciously allowed us to feature his music in our online worship services.

Aeris Brass Ensemble

The Aeris Brass Ensemble is the resident music ensemble of St George’s Church. They are a trombone quartet of young professional musicians who live in Westcombe Park, who have performed in concerts all over the UK.  We are very pleased to have them as part of the St George’s community.

The videos below feature six of the twelve pieces performed at the church on Twelfth Night (January 5th) 2018, capping off the Christmas season.
