We love to organise day trips for our young members. During the 2015-2016 school year, we travelled to St Albans, where we saw Roman ruins, dressed up like ancient soldiers in the Verulamium Museum and attended Evensong at St Albans Cathedral. Later, we took a river boat ride on the Thames Clipper, saw London from atop the London Eye, and explored Westminster Abbey.

Here at St George's and within the Parish of East Greenwich we have a wide range of activities for children and youth.

The service on the first Sunday of every month at St George’s is all age worship. On other Sundays, Children’s Church meets for children aged 3 and up. Children go to the classrooms downstairs at the start of the service for their own worship and activities, and they re-join the rest of the congregation on the main floor in time to share Holy Communion. The Children’s Church is coordinated by Joanne Lucas.
Going to church can be fun! Here you see some of St George's kids welcoming Bishop Michael Ipgrave, wearing the mitres they made in Childrens' Church.
