Welcome!

Welcome!

St George’s is the Church of England parish church serving Westcombe Park and Charlton slopes in the parish of East Greenwich. We are a growing and vibrant expression of church which welcomes and includes people from many different backgrounds and experiences, creating a congregation rich in diversity which reflects our local community.

We believe in inclusive Church – a church which celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate. We will continue to challenge the church where it continues to discriminate against people on grounds of disability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neurodiversity, or sexuality. We believe in a Church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ.

We meet at 10:30am every Sunday for Holy Communion, and can be found at 43 Glenluce Road, London SE3 7SD, at the corner of Glenluce Road and Kirkside Road (close to Westcombe Hill), a short distance from Westcombe Park railway station, and close to the Kirkside Road bus stop (routes 108, 286, 335 & 422).  Click here for a map.

St George’s and the Parish of East Greenwich take the safeguarding and care of children and vulnerable adults very seriously. Further information about this can be found here on our safeguarding page.
